Last updated October 7, 2026. Short version: the app keeps your data on your Mac, and this website keeps only what we need to deliver your license.

The app

Your groups, contacts, messages and history are stored on your Mac, encrypted, in your user Library folder. Bullhorn Text has no account and no cloud, and it doesn't send your contacts or messages to us or anyone else. It talks to the Messages and Contacts apps on your Mac, and checks your license key on your Mac without contacting a server. Once a day it asks bullhorntext.com which version is newest, so it can tell you when an update is ready; that request carries nothing about you, your contacts or your key. If you use Get Help, you choose to email us a short summary (counts and versions only, never names, numbers or message text).

This website

When you buy, Stripe collects your payment details, email, and billing address; we never see your card number. We keep your email address and order number so we can send your license key, resend it if you lose it, and handle refunds. Your key is emailed through Resend. This site uses no ads and no tracking cookies.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to see or delete what we hold about you. Deleting it means we can't resend your key later.
